Terms and Conditions

Single User License

Your Locale license allows you as the purchaser a permanent, nonexclusive, worldwide license to make use of the theme. Read this license for details regarding your use of the theme, as well as the FAQs, which also form part of the agreement.

1. You are licensed to use the theme to create one (1) single End Product.
For example: Your purchase from WP-Locale.com allows you to sell the end product as part of an end product for a customer for a single installation.

Your license allows you to

2. Create a single End Product for personal/professional use, or for use by a single third party, which may then be transferred to your client for any fee. This license is then transferred to your client.

3. You may modify or alter the product, combine it with other works and make derivative works from it. However, the resulting works remain subject to the terms of this license, no matter the extent of the modifications.
For example: You may modify any Open Source scripts or the CSS, but regardless of these modifications, the theme must maintain its status as Locale.

4. Your license provides access to support from the agents of WP-Locale.com for a period of 24 months after your purchase.

5. Your license provides unlimited updates after your initial purchase.

Things you may not do with the theme

6. You may not modify scripts that are exclusive to Locale or sourced by the authors of Locale, for which Open Source or Creative Commons licenses do not apply. These are identified in the source text of the theme. This license applies only to aspects of the theme that are not identified in such a manner.

7. You may not distribute or use scripts that are licensed to the authors of Locale or which were specifically written for use solely within the theme.

8. You may not allow the end user of the theme to extract it and use it separately from the End Product.

9. You may not use the theme as a part of a trade or service mark.
For example: Whilst you may modify the theme to suit your or your client’s needs, it has to retain its name and be identified as Locale within the source code.

10. Whether modifying the theme or scripts, these must be done under the auspices of the law, as applicable in whatever country or state the theme is purchased.

11. No false representation, whether employing imagery that is not licensed or copyright by the end user is allowed under any circumstances.

12. The theme may not be used for the dissemination of any material that is deemed illegal or which might bring its authors into disrepute.

13. This license can be terminated if you breach it. If that happens, you must stop making copies of or distributing the End Product until you remove the Item from it.

The authors of Locale retain ownership of the theme but grant you the license on these terms.
